It might surprise you to know that I wasn't a princess loving girlie girl growing up. I had two brothers, talented athletes all over my extended family, and lived at rugby and sporting events my entire childhood - so it was tomboy vibes. During that childhood, I also grew up in a family business and it became my dream to open a business one day. I loved to work from an early age, the independence was intoxicating. As I was pursuing my college degree, I began my beauty career in with ULTA, moving onto management with Nordstrom and MAC Cosmetics, and continued my career YSL and Calvin Klein. I got to work internationally under the mentorship of Danessa Myricks x Kiss. I've have the privilege of working and learning alongside some of the most talented artists in the DMV area for years. Jkwbeauty was born in a need for on site glam in a time when it wasn't accessible to the non-celebrity client. It was no overnight success - but constant grit, evolution, and refinement. As jkwbeauty moves in 15 years of business, I still cannot believe my side hustle became my life's work. I am so happy to be helping woman of all ages and ranges feel their absolute best. I couldn't be more proud to have an amazing team of artists alongside me. They are the heartbeat of this company! JKW lives for the opportunity to glam you up for your special life moments!

Oh my gosh, I just can't say enough good things about JKW. Let me start by saying I was very nervous about wedding day makeup - I have been in quite a few weddings as a bridesmaid not at all like myself. As a bride, I was very particular in my research and anxious about my trial experience. When I came in to meet with Jordan, she totally blew me away. She was fun to spend time with, she really listened to what I wanted, and she was totally honest with me about what would elevate my look for my big day. I have truly never felt more beautiful in my life - she made me glow, she talked me through every step, and she made me laugh and calm down when I started to feel wedding day stresses. The JKW team didn't stop with making me feel pretty - they glammed out my massive crew of bridesmaids and both mine and my husbands mom in ways that were totally personal to them. No crunchy hair or splotchy foundation here - everyone was freaking stunning. The hair held all day, all my girls felt beautiful, and they delivered on everything from natural looks to smoky eyes to braids to loose curls to party ponys. They were by far my favorite vendor to work with and I cannot recommend this team, and especially Jordan, enough. Thank you for helping me feel my most beautiful on my best day!!!
