Our clear tans are our most coveted for transfer resistance especially for our workout bunnies, brides, and these hot humid summers. Because they are bronzer free, they are 99% resistant to staining. Our other formulas are just as amazing and may transfer during the tanning processing time but are easy to wash out. We clean nails after every appointment to ensure no staining occurs.
Will the tan stain nails, sheets, clothing?
Our two premium tanning formulas are designed to deliver a natural, long-lasting glow, typically lasting 7-10 days. With proper preparation and consistent post-care, results may be extended even further. If you have a special event you are tanning for, aim to book 2-3 days before your event.
How Long does a jkw spray tan last?
Express tans are designed to be showered off between 1-5 hours (as directed by your artist). Regular tans are usually 8-12 processing, or called sleepers, if you get them in the evening. Either way, we will always inquire about your desired shower time and day of schedule to make sure we get you the color you want. All formulas have both options. Please consider that the full color development on either option is about 75% at 10 hour mark, and fully developed 24 hours later.
What's the difference between express + regular?
Loose dark clothing and slides, pretty please not a light or tight outfit. The tan needs room to process to ensure a flawless finish. You are welcome to choose your own adventure during your tan, we offer disposables. Male clients must wear undergarments. More details in the link below.
What do i wear to my appointment?
If you have tan lines to blend, vitaligo, or anything where there needs to be a color match to ensure evenness - please add the erase tan lines service onto your tan to ensure we can provide the best results for you.
Will my tan lines blend in?
Of course you can! We have tanned a lot fo baby bumps and mamas over the years. We have a few baby mama favorites that we will discussed based on your particular journey. As always, run it by your midwife/doctor.
Can i tan While pregnant or nursing?
A super soft definition of your natural muscle/body structure. Designed to pop those favorite parts and muscles you love. Face contour is like bronzer that stays on. Inquire within with any questions. Contour is for all body types!
What's the contour service?
You should book your tan 1 day before vacation and 2-3 days before a special event to ensure you have the primetime color.
When should I tan?
Classic tans last 5-7 days and Eco/Luxe tans last 8-10. Follow our advice for pre-appointment and post-care is the best way to increase the longevity of your tan and keep it looking even as it wears off. Check out those tips at the checklist guide below.
How Long does a jkw tan last?
Our most popular tan is The Eco. It has superior formulations packed with hydration and skincare goodness for your skin. It's our longest lasting tan. We will guide you in studio about color choice considering your desired outcome, shower timeframe, and skin type and tone.
Which tan do I pick?
Event makeup is where our artist creates a complete look for you, including lashes, while you relax and get pampered. We do throw some tips in along the way. On the other hand, a beauty lesson is an interactive experience where we guide you with personalized tips and techniques to achieve your desired look with your own products and tools (we sub ours when needed).
What's the difference between event makeup and makeup beuaty lesson?
We encourage you to bring your bag and brushes to your appointment. We will use our kit and tools to supplement. Additionally, we help you make a list of items to get to help with desired application, and also help you understand and learn how to sift through the vast land of products and tools.
